In today’s video I discuss 3 important Omega watches supplied to the British armed forces and RAF during WW2. I share some background information on the now famous Omega CK2129 worn by the actor Tom Hardy recently in Christopher Nolan’s “Dunkirk” movie. I then go on to review a classic Flieger watch which was worn by the opposing Luftwaffe during World War II. The Laco Friedrichshafen Type B dial automatic pilot watch (Ref. 861753) is the historically accurate but upgraded modern descendent of a typical navigator’s watches worn by the German pilots. This watch can be also be spotted in the 1969 movie “The Battle Of Britain”.
