Long Jumper & Seiko Ambassador: Darya Klishina

Revolution

At just 24-years-old, Darya Klishina drew the attention of the world’s media when she became the only Russian athlete to compete in the 2016 Olympic Games. The road to the competition was far from easy for Klishina and involved an eleventh-hour appeal to the IAAF who had banned the Russian National Federation from competing due to breaches of anti-doping rules. Twenty-four hours before the long jump qualifiers, Klishina’s appeal was upheld and she was immediately thrown in to the limelight as she became the unofficial poster girl for anti-doping in sport.
